GMCT is here for every member of the community in their time of need.

We understand the importance of compassionate, reliable and consistent information and services and we want to provide you with the information you need to make the right decisions. We are committed to ensuring GMCT’s support and services are accessible for those members of our community and their families who speak languages other than English (LOTE).

For your convenience, we have translated key information about our cemeteries, our services and our customer experience into six languages: Arabic, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Italian and Greek.

Each year we welcome over two million visitors to our cemeteries and support more than 12,000 families directly with their burial, cremation and memorial needs. Managing 19 cemeteries and memorial parks in Melbourne’s north, east and west, we offer a range of options tailored to your needs.

Our translated brochures include key information about:

  • Our cemeteries – Fawkner, Lilydale and Altona Memorial Parks
  • Our services – burials, cremated remains memorials, mausolea
  • Our customer experience – common queries and flower and ornament policy. In addition, our customer charter will soon be available in translated format.

Our cemetery brochures are now available on our language services page in PDF format and as audio recordings. You can also request to have printed copies of the brochures posted to you, or pick them up from our cemetery receptions during your next visit. English version of the brochures are available on our resources page.

For those wishing to speak with a member of our customer care team in a language other than English, support is available through the Victorian Interpreting and Translating Service on 03 9280 0757.
