About Anzac Commemorative Service at Lilydale Memorial Park
We invite you to join us in honouring the courage and sacrifice of those who served our country in times of conflict, including the servicemen and women laid to rest in our care at Lilydale Memorial Park.
Date: Monday, 14 April 2025
Time: 4:45-6pm
Location: Federation Chapel, Lilydale Memorial Park (126–128 Victoria Road, Lilydale)
Our community partner and not-for-profit catering social enterprise, TastyAz, will provide light refreshments before the service, so join us prior to the event for a cuppa and homemade Anzac biscuits.
Following the service, guests are welcome to spend time on the lawn outside the chapel to view the poppy display, lay wreaths and reflect.
This year, our special ‘Animals of War’ themed poppy display features approximately 8,000 handcrafted poppies created by members of the Rotary Club of Lilydale, Friends of Rotary, and residents of Evelyn Ridge Retirement Village. This tribute recognises the often-forgotten animal companions who served alongside our troops.
All are welcome to attend this meaningful community event.
