We are building new memorial areas and landscaping at the River Red Gum Precinct at Northern Memorial Park.
Once complete, this precinct will deliver new memorial spaces, tree-lined avenues and a shared bicycle path to connect the cemetery with local reserves. The new area will be a place of inclusion and remembrance where environmental values are preserved.
Construction will be delivered in three parts, starting with the establishment of a new soil recycling yard.
Work commences this week, 25 August, and is expected to conclude by end-October 2025. Appropriate fencing and signage are in place and there will be no disruption to funeral services.
Thank you for your patience while we carry out these works, and please take care when visiting the cemetery.
