If you’re planning a visit to Altona Memorial Park on Saturday 2 May to Sunday 3 May, please be aware that essential plumbing and electrical work will be taking place across the weekend.
The water supply will be turned off from 6.00am to 4.00pm on Saturday 2 May and Sunday 3 May. Water supply to the chapels and crematorium, and Shearwater and chapel toilets will remain on during the works.
Clear signage will be in place directing visitors to the nearest alternative public toilets.
Sunday 3 May, from 6.30am to 10.30am, there will be a site-wide power outage to allow for important electrical work. All public toilet facilities will remain open but without power.
