From Monday 6 October, the western end of River Red Gum Circuit at Northern Memorial Park will be closed to traffic to allow for construction of new memorial areas.
Visitor access via May Street will also be unavailable from this date.
We will have detours and plenty of signage in place to help guide visitors through the park. All memorial areas will remain open and there will be no interruption to funeral services.
We expect to reopen the road in early December 2025.
Construction and dust management
Recent inclement weather is unfortunately causing some challenging onsite conditions and an increase in dust around the construction zone.
We are working closely with the contractor to improve dust control measures at the site and reduce any impact on our neighbours and visitors.
