About the venue
Located at Lilydale Memorial Park, the Federation Chapel overlooks the sweeping vista of the Yarra Valley and neighbouring vineyards. The traditional venue has a tasteful design and understated quality. The federation-style architecture is characterised by high ceilings and stained glass windows, with several rooms available for overflow.
Seating
Federation Chapel can seat up to 100 people, with the option of an additional 40 people standing. For large services, up to 300 people can be accommodated by providing a video-link of the service from the chapel to the adjacent North and South overflow rooms.
Audio visual capabilities
Our audio visual systems are regularly upgraded to meet current technology. We can accept multiple visual formats. This includes DVDs and Blu-ray discs, also we now accept USB for photo presentations, (E.g. mp4, AVI, mpeg4, MOV), or Power point presentations.
The projector is in 16:9 format but can be adjusted if necessary to 4:3. There is also the capability to play directly from laptops if the formats are incompatible with our system, however these would need to be run by the supplier of the laptop.
To avoid disappointment on the day, we recommend that tests are organised prior to the service date. This can be arranged by contacting our customer care team on 1300 022 298.
