About Keilor Cemetery
Keilor Cemetery has been serving its diverse, multicultural community’s evolving needs for more than 150 years. Its pioneer graves reflecting the history of its location on the road to the goldfields.
Keilor Cemetery is also home to a Gallipoli Oak tree grown from acorns brought back from the battlefields of World War 1. It is an important community monument to those who lost their lives in that conflict.
In 2017, GMCT began the release of 5065 new graves in the Ely Court extension. This will help to serve the needs of the local community into the future.
With a new extension planned for the existing mausoleum, the Gallery of the Saints, various burial and cremation memorial options, and an on-site florist, Keilor Cemetery is one of our most active community cemeteries.
