Auslan Interpreters at GMCT
GMCT welcomes and supports the use of Auslan interpreters to ensure Deaf community members can fully participate in services, ceremonies and visits across our sites.
Families, funeral directors and community members are welcome to arrange an Auslan interpreter for any interaction with GMCT, including:
Funeral and memorial services
Planning or booking appointments
Community events and ceremonies
Site visits and meetings
Depending on the type of interaction you are having with us, Auslan interpreters can be booked directly by families or by a funeral director. If an Auslan interpreter is attending a service or appointment, let our team know in advance so appropriate support can be provided on the day.
